Get In the Zone for 2024-25!!!

We are accepting applications for students and adults for the National Junior Safety Patrol Program offered at Niles Elementary for the 2024-25 school year.  The Safety Patrol is responsible for running the vehicle loading/unloading zone on School Street.  Shifts run about 25-30 minutes and we will need one adult and five to six students for each shift.  Adults can share shifts.

To be eligible to participate in the program, students must be in 5th grade for the current year and in good academic standing.  If you or your child is interested in participating in this program, please complete this FORM by FRIDAY, August 23rd. Students may volunteer for 1-2 shifts per week and can request morning or afternoon shifts.

SHIFTS BEGIN the week of September 3rd.

Please be sure to fill in all information below and you will be contacted for final scheduling. 

*Parents – if you are interested in being a captain, you can note this on your child’s form. There will be an training/orientation and swearing-in ceremony before patrols begin. WE CANNOT RUN SAFETY PATROL WITHOUT A PARENT VOLUNTEER FOR EACH SHIFT.  Please sign up today and be part of the Niles Elementary Zone team.
